Traders in Karachi gave 48-hour ultimatum to take back decision of hike in petroleum prices. Karachi Traders Association Action Committee termed the hike in POL prices unjustified and demanded of the government to take back this decision otherwise the traders will launch a protest. Karachi Traders Action Committee, Chairman, Sadeeq Memon, in his statement said that the in Karachi will observe a shutter down strike on September 4 if the decision of increase in petroleum prices was not taken back by the government.
