Former President of Supreme Court Bar Association Asma Jahangir has said that the Supreme Court is not meeting the requirements of delivery of justice in the Arsalan Iftikhar Case.
Talking to media-persons Monday outside Lahore High Court, she expressed reservations on the steps taken by the Supreme Court regarding Arsalan Iftikhar Case.
Criticizing the appointment of Shoaib Suddle for probing the Arsalan Iftikhar Case, she said that the Supreme Court wants to facilitate investigations of the case from their ‘ favorite’ as Shoaib Suddle has ‘close connections’ with Arsalan Iftikhar.
She proposed that Supreme Court should ask the Scotland Yard to conduct the investigation of Arsalan Iftikhar Case, if it has no confidence on the national institutions.

  1. asma is true, one judiciary two standards. fantastic mr chaudary iftikhar. ur model of justice is historical…haha

  2. I think State should make this lady the SC and see the results.
Commentary is easy. Batting on the crease is tough job.

  3. The Judiciary is making a mistake and destroying its own credibility by interfering with the investigation of the one case it should not ever interfere with. Asma is spot on as always. The suspicion in peoples mind is that the judges by acting as a party, taking sides, have something to hide.
Did Arsalan influence judgments If he did not before he seems to be now.

  6. CJP CHoudhry and SC has Miserably Failed To Strengthen Judicial-Economic-Social System of Country against the expectations of Public/Civil Society who had supported Their Restoration through Executive Order instead of Parliament(great mistake of his staunch supporters).Instead CJP/SC has weakened Country Judicially,Economically,Socially by Its Irrational/Illegal Orders/Interference in Other Institutions Domain.Probably They think They are Robin Hoods of Pakistan,….and so on…..

  7. Why this B**I**T**C**H is given so much importance. She is very dangereous person and always obssessed with ISI ans Army. She has a sick mind,

  8. mje smjh nai aati is aurat ki baat ko kuon media itni importance deta hai… who is she…..

  9. White wash needs by the power of awam through out the country, because all systems and departments have been corrupted, its need a big white wash……awam needs to come out for their right, because country has been paralyzed

  10. If it is found the Chief Justice of Pakistan is using his power to influence and interfere in his Son's Curruption Case, than this lady is right, otherwise, blaming chief justice without any evidence is wrong. Be very very careful, CJ sahib. This is your test case for Pakistan as well as in the eyes of Almighty Allah.

  11. Bright day-light needs no argument to prove itself.
SC ordered AG to move "Government Machinery" to investigate the scandle. And there was no better agency than NAB for the job. But suddenly they withdraw their order and handed over the case to Shoaib Saddle, a very close relative of Ch. Iftekhar.
    Don't you smell something fishy?

  12. Very well said by Former President of Supreme Court Bar Association(Asma Jahangir) because SC and especially Mr. Iftikhar chaudhry is not playing the role of Justice as he's totaly trying to safe his son Arsalan Iftikhar by forming a comission which will be headed by his dear friend Mr. Shoaib Suddle.

  13. she ix right .. CJ shifted the case to NAB first, where his son does not bothered to appear.. the case shd be heared in Sc on daily basis.. so the justice cud be done ASAP otherwise mr arslan will take a narrow window and disappear from the scene
