The information secretary of PML-N, Ahsan Iqbal, has said that the government has made the new provinces issue controversial by forming the new provinces commission unilaterally.
Talking to media after the meeting of PML-N’s Core Committee, Ahsan said that the government is not serious about forming new provinces.
Saying that the resolution of the Punjab Assembly was neglected; Ahsan rejected government’s offer for holding local bodies election before the general elections.
Ahsan Iqbal called lawlessness in Karachi a clear evident of the failure of the government.
During the four-year of the present government, the overall loan of the country peaked to 12 trillion from 5 trillion which resulted in high inflation, he added.
