Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan has a lot on his plate. But, mention his nine-month old granddaughter Aaradhya, and you get a big smile from him. Big B, who was last seen on the big screen in Ram Gopal Varma’s Department this year, was at the launch of the sixth season of popular quiz show, Kaun Banega Crorepati, in Mumbai recently. The 69-year-old talks about Aaradhya, his birthday plans and interacting with fans.

On Kaun Banega Crorepati:
When we were just starting in 2000 and I had agreed to do the show, I never thought it would continue for 12 years. KBC has been a moving and extremely satisfying experience for me.
On granddaughter Aaradhya:
She hasn’t started speaking yet but she pulls my beard. She knows that this man with beard is special. We adjust our timings according to her. I make sure I get enough time to play with her.
On plans for his 70th birthday (October 11):
You will have to ask the family about my birthday plans. But, I think they are planning something.
On interacting with audience:
Earlier, there were very few mediums of communication. But now, there are many. I love connecting with my fans through any medium.
On a remake of Sholay:
I think there is nothing wrong if Sholay is remade today. I am okay with the idea.
