As security forces move ahead with military offensive in the tribal belt on Sunday, they killing seven militants in Azam Warsak area of South Waziristan, and nine others in Baujar. According to sources in the military‚ 13 militants had also been injured in the clashes. On the other hand, the militants fired rockets on security forces fort in Khan Kot area of the agency. Several soldiers were reported to have been injured in the attack. Earlier, the terrorists attacked convoys of the security forces with remote-controlled bombs at four separate places across North Waziristan. However‚ no casualties were reported in any of the attempt. The political administration has imposed an indefinite curfew in several areas of the agency, including Miranshah‚ Mirali‚ Dosalli and Razmak.
BAJAUR OFFENSIVE: Security forces killed at least nine militants on Sunday in the ongoing military operation in Batwar area of Bajaur Agency along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border.
