Seven terrorists killed in South Waziristan

At least seven suspected Taliban militants were killed and 13 others wounded in ongoing military operation in Azam Warsak area of South Waziristan, lawless tribal region borders with war-turn Afghanistan, military officials said on Sunday.
According to military officials, Pakistan army targets secret hideouts of militants with heavy weapons, killing at least seven militants and injuring to 13 others.
Earlier, 28 militants and four security personnel were killed on August 25 in the same region where Pakistan army is engaged in combating terrorists who have killed thousands Pakistanis.
Pakistan army has launched a massive operation in South Waziristan and Bajaur agencies, both borders with war-turn neighboring country, since last August. Military officials said the offensive left more than 1,500 Al-Qaeda and Taliban militants dead and that more than 70 troops were also killed.
Security forces had also captured more than 300 foreign militants, mainly from Afghanistan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, the military said.
