Chairman Difa-e-Pakistan Council and Amir of JUI(S) Samiul Haq has said that proposed operation in North Waziristan is a conspiracy against the country. He has asked the government and army to resolve internal issues through dialogue and reconciliation.
He was talking to JUI(S) Central Secretary General Abdul Rauf Farooq and other party leaders here on Sunday.
He said the continued drone attacks by United States in Waziristan are the proof of government’s consent and lack of concern for the lives of the innocent people.
Maulana Samiul Haq accused the rulers of involving the courts and army in non-issues by creating self styled confrontation. The whole purpose is to divert the attention of the people from crisis after crisis, he said.
He said a meeting of general council of DPC has been convened on 10th September in Rawalpindi while an all party meeting of religious and social parties will be held in the city the following day.
