Unknown miscreants planted explosive material at four separate places in Dattakhel area of North Waziristan Agency to target security forces but fortunately all the planted explosives missed the targets on Sunday.
Sources said that unknown miscreants planted explosives at four separate places in tehsil Dattakhel area to target the conveys of security forces which went off with big bangs, without inflicting any damage on the security forces personnel.
After the deafening explosions at four spots, security forces personnel cordoned off the entire area to nab the perpetrators.
However, no arrest has been made in this regard.
It is pertinent to mention here that many incidents of the killing and injuring the security forces had been reported in roadside blasts in the tribal region and security forces were also stepping up their operations against the insurgents in the area.
