A First Information Report (FIR) has been registered against deputy opposition leader of the Punjab Assembly Shaukat Basra for allegedly grabbing land. While talking to a private TV channel, Basra denied the charges launched against him and said that such shallow defamatory tricks could not faze a staunch Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) worker like him. He said that since 1978 his house had been standing on the same chunk of land which he was now accused of grabbing. Online
