Indian Foreign Minister SM Krishna will arrive here on September 7 on a three-day visit to hold talks with Pakistani leaders on Kashmir, peace and security, Siachen, Sir Creek, terrorism and other important issues on the agenda of Pakistan-India peace process. The announcement about the visit of Indian foreign minister was made by the Foreign Office here on Friday.
“The Minister of External Affairs of India will be visiting Pakistan on 7-9 September 2012, for holding review meeting with the Foreign Minister at her invitation. The bilateral talks will take place on 8 September 2012,” said a foreign office statement. “These talks will be preceded by a meeting of the Foreign Secretaries of Pakistan and India on 7 September 2012. The two Ministers will also co-chair the Plenary of the India-Pakistan Joint Commission to be held in Islamabad on 8 September 2012,” it said.
