Minority Rights Commission Pakistan Chairman M Parkash Advocate has said that Pakistan is the motherland of Hindu community and they cannot think to take shelter in any other country by leaving their homeland. In a statement issued here on Friday, M Parkash Advocate ruled out any mass migration of Sindhi Hindus from Pakistan, however, he said as a result of law and order situation in upper Sindh, few members of the Hindu community had been shifted from their towns to bigger cities like Hyderabad and Karachi. He said the visit to India in groups from the members of Hindu community for “Yatira” is a routine matter. “There is nothing unusual”, he added. M Parkash welcomed the formation of parliamentary committee by President Asif Ali Zardari with assurance that five percent employment quota in federal level and provincial governments will be implemented in letter and spirit.
