The PML-N chief Mian Nawaz Sharif said on Saturday that the rulers through their flawed policies were pushing the country at the verge of destruction.
In separate meeting’s with Mumtaz Bhutto’s son, Ameer Bakhsh Bhutto and eminent businessman Anwar Pervaiz here in Raiwind, Nawaz said the country could get rid of the corrupt rulers only through elections. He said delay in the elections would be disastrous for the country.
Nawaz said it was not the time to stage the drama of new provinces, rather it’s the time for and end to corruption. He said the common man’s life has been paralysed by the unprecedented loadshedding, inflation and joblessness, but the rulers seem least interested to resolve these problems.
He claimed that the PML-N will sweep the next elections in the country, including in Sindh. He said Karachi is the backbone of the country’s economy, but law and order situation has been created in the city to destroy its peace. He said the situation in Karachi would have been much better if the orders of the Supreme Court regarding the mega city were implemented in letter and spirit.
