Burden of cases on judiciary increased owing to failure of administration: PHC CJ

Peshawar High Court (PHC) Chief Justice Dost Muhammad Khan has said that all judges of the country should provide fast justice to the people without accepting any pressure because successful justice system is a sign for improving the society in the country.
Addressing the participants on Saturday at the concluding ceremony of training course for judicial officials, the PHC chief justice said that delay provision of justice to masses creates various troubles in the society, therefore all judges should give their verdicts on cases without any fear.
He said that protection of people’s fundamental rights should be the top priority of the judges, adding that burden of cases on judiciary had increased due to failure of administration in the country.
The chief justice said that competent and honest people should be elected in the next general elections. He said that bar and bench are two wheels of justice system in the country, therefore relations between both should be better.
