Board announces HSC results

The Controller of Examinations Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Hyderabad Friday announced the results of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Part-II Pre-Medical, Pre-Engineering and Science General Groups Annual Examinations 2012.
According to result summary, all top three positions of Pre-Medical group were clinched by female candidates.
Maheen Shahid d/o Syed Shahid Ali of Eagle House Higher Secondary School, Tando Allahyar has claimed first position in the examinations, while Sadia Shaikh d/o Nasir Uddin Shaikh of Hayat Girls Higher SEcondarry School, Hyderabad and Rida Islam d/o Dr. Islam Uddin of County Cambridge for Girls, Hyderabad have secured second and third positions respectively. In Pre-Engineering group, Rohama Sajid d/o Sajid Iqbal and Muhammad Umer s/o Dr Nisar Ahmed Shaikh, both students of Superior College of Science, Latifabad, have secured first and second positions respectively and Darshana d/o Tulsi Das of H.M. Khoja International Girls College Society, Nawabshah bagged the third position.
In Science General Group, Sidratul-Muntaha d/o Maqbool Shah of Perfect School and College System Thatta, Faiza d/o Muhammad Waseem of Latif Nisazi Memorial Higher Secondary School Latifabad Unit-11 and Muhammad Shaharyar s/o Muhammad Afaque of Government Higher Secondary School Halepota Hyderabad got first, second and third positions respectively.
A total of 18367 candidates including 10095 girls and 8272 male candidates appeared in the Pre-Medical Group, out of which 15759 were declared pass in different grades.
A total of 16211 candidates including 1823 female and 14388 male students appeared in Pre-Engineering Group Examinations, of them 12035 candidates including 1538 female and 10497 male candidates have been declared pass in different grades. According to the statistics, 1227 candidates have secured A-I Grade marks, 1805 candidates clinched A grades, 4106 obtained B, 4365 bagged C, 436 candidates stood with D and two candidates have been declared pass with E grades.
