Police arrested two kidnappers and recovered the body of an 8-year-old boy abducted from the area of South Cantt on Friday, City42 reported. According to the channel, Awais was kidnapped by his uncle Bilal and a cousin, Anees a few days ago. The report said the kidnappers had murdered the child after raping him. Acting on a tip-off, the police raided the hideout in an area of South Cantt and arrested both the kidnappers. Police also found Awais’s body after preliminary investigation.
In another report by the same channel, police raided and arrested three men as a result of the crackdown against kite flying. Police also recovered 3,000 kites, a large quantity of kite thread and other goods from their possession.
