Yesterday I happen to watch Hamid Mir’s program in which he called Engr Agha Waqar along with a few renowned scientists. The purpose of this program was to highlight Agha Waqar’s claim of running a car based on water input. It was pathetic to note that instead of encouraging the above young engineer, one of the scientists called him “a fraud, a cheat and that he should be sent to jail”. I feel that the young engineer should be given a chance to again demonstrate his so called invention (which is as old as 1935) in front of these scientists, who perhaps are feeling the pinch. They are harping upon the existing theories but who knows that 50 years from now you may be able to run a car on water and that too economically. He should take these “old scientists” to NUST and demonstrate in open. After all, some 100 years ago who could say that an atom can produce energy. Have a heart and please do not discourage young engineers who want to do something new, breaking out from the existing theories.
