It has been alleged that legal branch of the town municipal administration has deliberately misplaced record of dozens of lawsuits to hide wrongdoings of the legal branch. Sources said Sabeeh-ud-Din, promoted from the post of a clerk, worked as a superintendent of the legal branch for 20 years. It is said that he was a favourite of the high-ups. He was also suspended many a time, an inquiry was initiated against him and Muhammad Saleem was appointed in his place.
