Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah on Wednesday said that the people of southern Punjab will reject the ‘Zardari commission’ for the formation of a new province.
While talking to the media, the minister demanded that a national commission should be constituted on the issue instead of relying on the ‘Zardari commission’. He questioned why the government had not cared about the commission at the time when the 18th constitutional amendment was being passed. Referring to the protest launched by the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) members in the Punjab Assembly on Tuesday, Sanaullah said that they had summoned a meeting for legislation.
