Police held a watchman over blasts at Islamabad-Peshawar Motorway that struck check-posts in Risalpur and Nasta, a private television said.
Earlier on Tuesday night, explosives hidden in bathrooms blasted damaging buildings. No human casualties were reported.
Watchman is being investigated by police.
