All arrangements have been finalized to celebrate the two-day annual date palm festival and international seminar 2012 to be held on Friday, August 31. A meeting was held in this regard under the chairmanship of Khairpur Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Abbas Baloch at his office. The meeting was informed that export of date palm has increased due to holding of annual seminars for the last three years. Addressing the meeting, the DC said that Sindh Chief Minister Sayed Qaim Ali Shah will inaugurate the two-day date palm festival-2012 while his daughter MNA Nafessa Shah will be the chief guest on the occasion.
