Karachi police tighten security around city courts after threat

Police tightened security in and around city courts here on Tuesday following threats of suicide bombings.
Senior police officials including DIG Security and SSP South visited the courts to review the security arrangements.
No one was allowed to enter court premises without checking while the police have also stopped traffic flow on streets around the court premises.
On Monday, President of the Karachi Bar Association Mahmood-ul-Hasan received a letter with threats that the premises of the city court would be attacked by five suicide bombers on August 28.
