FAP, Sindh govt ink $100m pact for grain storage

The country’s first dedicated bulk cargo terminal Fauji Akbar Portia Martine Terminals (FAP) would develop a strategic storage facility in this port city at a cost of $ 100 million. To this effect, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was inked Monday between the FAP and the Sindh government here at the office of Sindh Board of Investment (SBI). The agreement was singed by Chief Executive Officer of FAP Ahmed K. Rana and Secretary Food Aftab Ahmed Memon. Present among others were provincial Finance Minister Murad Ali Shah, SBI Chairman Zubair Motiwala, Secretary Finance Naveed Kamran Baloch, Fauji Foundation Lt M.D.. Gen (R) Mustafa Khan and FAP Ghouse Vice Chairman Akbar.
