CAA to cooperate with PIA to overcome crisis

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) and Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) are two national organisations that can jointly play a prominent role in the field of civil aviation.
This was stated by chairman and chief executive officer Air Chief (r) Rao Qamar Suleman while speaking at a reception hosted by PIA to honor air traffic controllers Sunday night.
He said that PIA needed cooperation of air traffic controllers during the present crisis facing national carrier and the forthcoming Hajj operation.
“PIA is a national organisation and needed the cooperation of CAA to sail out the national carrier from the current crisis. Every Pakistani has to play individual and collective role in this regard”, he added.
Chairman CAA Nadeem Khan Yousuf and president Air Traffic Controller Association Naeem Iqbal assured of their full cooperation and thanked PIA chairman for hosting a reception. CCA chairman presented a memorial shield to the director flight operations PIA Capt Anwer Adil. PIA chairman assured flight controllers to sympathetically consider their demands and said that national carrier will send air traffic controller to perform Hajj.
