President Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) Yasir Sakhi Butt Tuesday said that the business trend in the federal capital received boost with the start of Ramadan to till present.
The economy of Islamabad is dependent on other cities of the country however; overall economy of the country was badly affected due to load shedding and energy crises and to some extent this situation also affected business activities in Islamabad.
The president said that different industrial zones of the country directly or indirectly affect business activities in Islamabad but the calculated figures shows that the trend is on upward direction presently.
He said that since last five weeks a continuous boost was witnessed in different kinds of business activities in Islamabad despite lazy economic growth of the country.
