Seeking more time equal to insult of judiciary, nation: Nawaz

Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) President Nawaz Sharif has said that seeking time from the judiciary in writing letter to Swiss authorities amounts to joke with the apex judiciary, country and the nation which must come to an end.
While talking to media at the residence of renowned actress Zeba in Lahore, he said that judiciary is doing its job with true sense of responsibility keeping in view the rule of law and the constitution.
If the government has had respect for the constitution, circumstances would not have gone to this extent. He said that the government has been under-estimating judiciary for four and a half years. He said the government has not learnt any lesson from the past and if judicial orders were not implemented, then Prime Ministers would be disqualified.
Nawaz Sharif said the government has not yet accepted the judiciary as it wants Dogar courts. He said the rulers say something and do the opposite.
The PML-N Chief said elections would be held between three and six months and by making amendments in the constitution for caretaker set up they have done a great service to the country.
He said they have no objection over commission for establishment of new provinces but on its mandate. He strongly supported the creation of Hazara province. He said that the government has selected its favourite people in the commission of new provinces. The official institutions are being used for vested interests of some people who have nothing to do with the issues of the nation which has reached the edge of destruction, said Nawaz.
He said he and Shahbaz Sharif have taken notice of Sardar Dost Mohammad Khosa’s press conference and spoke to Sardar Zulfikar Khosa. He did not respond to the statement of Javed Hashmi’s statement on Sunday.
While throwing light on energy crisis, Nawaz Sharif said that if the government had taken it seriously, at least 50% crisis would have been resolved. “We have a comprehensive plan; if we are allowed to come to the power, we would try our best to tackle the issue at every cost’ The PML-N Chief said.
He made it clear that the PML-N would not befool the nation with fake and fabricated stories to tackle the crisis within three or six months.
