PM’s appearance before court shows govt’s respect for judiciary: Kaira

Information Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira has said Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf appearance before apex court shows government’s respect fro judiciary.
He assured that a solution of the matter will definitely be found.
Talking to the media persons in the Supreme Court building‚ the information minister said “despite reservations on the court orders‚ we have always respected its orders and will continue to appear before the courts to contest the cases.”
Rejecting confrontation with the judiciary‚ he said “we have always accepted the dignity and authority of the courts.”
He said “despite reservations on the disqualification of former Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani‚ we implemented the court orders.”

  1. What about the orchestrated abuses by PPP cronies like Faisal Raza Abedi, Sharjeel Memon, Shaukat Basra etc. Has anybody ever looked at the criminal record and from rags to riches rise of this Senator F R Abedi, who lacks parliamentary ettiquttes and ethics.

Mr Kaira neither PPP nor PML (N) has shown respect for the judiciary and the judicial process; regrettably up until the eve of appearance in the Supreme Court defiant messages were coming from PPP. Besides PPP politicians have carried out a sustained campaign of dragging justices of the Supreme Court through the mud.

    Dispensation of justice, provision of health, education and better living conditions should be non-contentious issues between the political parties (Ref Dr Kazi Islamabad).
