Secretary General Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Liaqat Baloch said on Sunday that Prime Minister (PM) Raja Pervaiz Ashraf had no option but to appear before the apex court and execute its orders.
While talking to media after participating in annual Teachers’ Conference organized by Red Foundation held at Bhambar, Azad Kashmir, he said that those who were flouting court orders would ultimately become symbol of disgrace.
Commenting on drone attacks in North Waziristan, he said the US was promoting terrorism by subversive activities. “These attacks are spreading hatred against the US, that is why more people are taking part in struggle to save themselves from US slavery,” he added.
Meanwhile, in an address to party workers at Wazirabad, he said JI was an organized, human serving and a countrywide party. “JI is struggling for an Islamic welfare state without any discrimination of color, caste, ethnicity and creed”, he maintained.
He appealed to Pakistanis to support JI in order to get rid of a regime of cruelty, corruption and US slavery.
