Nawaz wants Bugti’s killers punished

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif on Sunday said the killers of Nawab Akbar Bugti must be brought to book. In a statement on the 6th death anniversary of Nawab Bugti,
Nawaz said August 26 would be remembered for the wound inflicted on the existence of Pakistan by dictatorship, as this day, a coward dictator got murdered a brave Pakistani politician and a patriotic Bloach leader.
The PML-N chief said Nawab Bugti had fully backed Quaid-e-Azam during his visit to Balochistan and struggled all his life for the promotion of democracy.
He said the Nawab always upheld national interests and refused to bow before dictatorship.
Nawaz said Nawab Bugti was an upright politician and a patriotic Pakistani and in his death had weakened the federation and increased the sense of deprivation among the Baloch people.
Had Nawab Bugti not murdered, Balochistan would not have been in such a situation, Nawaz added.
“The arrest of assailants of Nawab Akbar Bugti and awarding them deterrent punishment is utmost essential for strengthening the federation of Pakistan and removing the sense of deprivation of Balochistan,” the PML-N chief added.
