At least five suspected Taliban militants were killed in clash with Pakistan army in Kuram Agency while two members of Amman Lashkar lost their lives in militant attacks in Khyber Agency.
According to government officials, several militants ambushed security forces check post in Torghar, remote area of Kuram Agency, on this army retaliated with full force and killed five militants.
Military officials said two security personnel were sustained injuries in hours long clash.
Meanwhile, in Khyber Agency, two local members of Amman Lashkar were killed in remote control bomb blast.
Suspected Taliban militants planted the bomb device targeting Amman Lashkar militia which fighting against the terrorists in their areas.
Two more members of the militia were wounded who were later shifted to Peshawar military hospital in critical condition.
