Estranged Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) stalwart Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khosa held a meeting with his party chief Nawaz Sharif at the latter’s Raiwind residence on Saturday and expressed full confidence on the party’s leadership.
Sources said that Khosa’s complaints were addressed during the detailed meeting in Raiwind. Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and PML-N leader Rana Tanvir were also present during the meeting.
A statement issued by the PML-N after the meeting said that Khosa had expressed complete confidence in the leadership of Nawaz Sharif.
Moreover, PML-N leader Raja Ashfaq Sarwar said that Khosa’s complaints were successfully addressed during the meeting.
Earlier on Friday, Chaudhry Nisar had visited Khosa at the latter’s residence where he held a successful dialogue with the septuagenarian leader, who had resigned as senior adviser to Punjab chief minister on Aug 2.
Khosa’s son Dost Muhammad Khosa, a former chief minister, had followed the suit by tendering his resignation from party membership and held a press conference where he criticised Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s style of governance.
Khosa junior had also accused the chief minister of maligning Khosas by leaking ‘false’ reports of corruption involving the family to the media.
Hissamuddin Khosa, another son of Zulfikar Khosa, was also present during the parleys with Chaudhry Nisar but Dost avoided the meeting citing ‘personal engagements’.

  1. I have been saying for so long that khosas are really KHOTAAS. They have proved it agian. There is one short, ugly, balad KHOSA is sitting in Governor house of Lahore. That is really a very bad Khota. He has also proved many times that he the worst Khosa on face of this earth. Conclusion is that Khosas will always remain Khotas no matter what.
