Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif is likely to meet annoyed party leader Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa in a few days, as Opposition Leader Nisar Ali Khan met Khosa on Friday and assured him that his reservations would be addressed soon. Former adviser to Punjab chief minister and veteran politician Zulfiqar Khosa resigned as PML-N member on August 2 due to differences with the party senior leadership.
According to a private TV channel, Nisar, Rana Tanveer and other party officials went to Khosa’s house to convince him to return to the party. Party leader Nawaz arrived in Lahore on Friday after performing Umra and asked Nisar to talk to Khosa. Sources said Khosa had agreed to take back his resignation after the talks. The source said a telephonic conversation was also held between Nawaz and Khosa.
