The meteorological department has predicted more rains in the Punjab, Kashmir and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa areas in the next 24 hours while flooding has inundated several villages, media reports said on Friday.
During the past 24 hours, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Sahiwal, Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Kohat and Kashmir received scattered rain with Sahiwal receiving the maximum 88 millimeter of rain.
Due to flooding in Nullah Daik, floodwater entered into the open fields while several houses also collapsed in Hafizabad due to flooding in Chenab River.
