Imran Khan for ‘definitely holding march’ towards Waziristan

Expressing determination over his struggle against drone attacks, Imran Khan has said that his party has no doubts in holding long march towards Waziristan.
While addressing a press conference at Marri, he said that military operation should be launched in consultation with masses who are real actors of the state. Operation in North Waziristan may be succeeded with the cooperation of masses, he added.
He said the government had come to power in order to follow the US agenda; that is why it is not raising voice to halt drone attacks particularly in Northern areas.
We are expecting over 1, 00,000 participants in the March and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is fully determined to hold it, he said.
“We just have to determine dates to hold march and today’s meeting with tribal delegations is a step for it,” he further added. Without referring North or South Waziristan, Khan informed that detailed route and logistic plan was underway for the march.
“The tribesmen will themselves arrange security for the participants,” he further said and added that no other party could dare to go to the area.
Throwing light on drone issues, he said that drone attacks are clear-cut violation of the national sovereignty but regrettable to come to know that the US is killing innocent people with the permission of the government of Pakistan.
Quoting special references from world famous historians, politicians and journalist, he said the UN has declared drone attacks as violation of the international law but it is the government of Pakistan which is showing unscrupulousness in this regard.
He said that foreign journalists would also accompany with the PTI caravan leading to northern areas to raise the issue on international level; so that US barbarism may be stopped to keep law and order in northern areas.

    PS:em not a supporter of Nawaz Shareef either since he is a bigger fraud(especially for PTI workers) 🙂

Hahaha…..brother stop living in a fool's paradise……accept the reality…….no one can come to power in this country untill n unless he supports uncle sam…..this is what he's doing……we dont only need 'sincere' leader but a loyal,visionary and capable leader…that's y people like Dr A Q khan dont support him…..n to hell with bloody zardari………..!!!!

It wont be possible for LEAs to provide security cover to this march and God forbids if something bad happens iKhan can't blame anyone but him. Militants in that areas are headless, and this certainly is not a way to handle them. They will for sure target the march and kill so many of marchers and iKhan will be responsible. For sure iKhan needs to rethink this move and better think it non-politically.

    Why on the surface of earth we are painting our brethern in Wazirstan as terrorist etc. They love Pakistan as much as us. How would you react if you were facing attacks all the time. Wazirstan used to be and still can peaceful but not under hammer and anvil policy. Good luck Imran–You are going home. amongst your own people and not among strangers. You will be received as a guest and not as Farangi. Need company?

  14. Pure naviety. Waziri tribesmen are already on board with the authorities. Please study the Talibaan in detail. All talibaan are not the same. This war is not with the Waziri tribes; its with the TTP (a collection of ruffians and convicts from all over, armed to the teeth with the latest weapons and equipment courtesy CIA, RAW and MOSSAD) that is provided shelter there. Those who think that if operations against the TTP are stopped they will stop attacking Pakistan's interests are grossly mistaken. Sooner or later Mr Imran Khan will have to own this war.
