Violence in metropolitan claims three more lives

At least three persons were killed in different areas of the city on Thursday. According to the police sources, a 25-year-old man named Anwar Sattar was shot dead in Ayub Goth, New Karachi. His body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for legal formalities.
Another man Irfan, 28, was killed as a stray bullet hit him in a private company’s factory situated near Export Processing Zone, Landhi.
A limb-tied body of a 30-year-old man was found near A-3 bus stop, Suhrab Goth. Sources said that he was kidnapped and then killed. Identification of this dead body could not be ascertained yet.
Red Zones reopen: Red zones, which were sealed through containers on Eid ul Fitar, were reopened for transport on Thursday.
The red zones were sealed through containers in southern Karachi for four days due to possible terrorist attacks on the occasion of Eid ul Fitar.
Due to security concerns, the Governor house, CM House, Supreme Court, Sindh Assembly building and offices of law and enforcement agencies were sealed through containers before one day of Eid in red zones of Karachi.
Now theses containers have been removed by lifters and Governor House Fowara Chowk, Supreme Court and Shaheen complex have been opened for public.
Police arrests more than 50 bikers: Police on Wednesday night arrested more than 50 bike riders in Clifton, Sea view and Defence area and shifted them to Darakhsha police station, media reports said.
The police arrested them under section 550 and confiscated their vehicles.
Police claimed the bike riders were arrested over charges of one wheeling, over speed and race.
Talking to a private TV channel, the accused rejected all the charges.
