Tando Adam incident: Police arrests seven accused

Police claimed to have arrested seven accused involved in the lynching of a man in Tando Adam on Thursday.
Per reports, the local residents of Joharabad area of Tando Adam attacked a house after they suspected that illicit activities were taking place there.
Allegedly, the neighbors turned violent after finding out that three men had brought a woman of easy virtue into the house. Acting in a vigilante manner, they put a lock on the main gate and dared them to come out and face them. Seeing the people in such an angry state, the besieged occupants of the house called their friends to get them out of there.
According to sources, the friends of the men trapped in the house came to their rescue and shot gun fires in the air to disperse the angry vigilantes.
In the height of panic their firing injured a young boy, which maddened the mob to an extent that they dragged the men inside the house out and subjected them to severe torture, killing a man Ghulam Muhammad, 50, on spot and seriously injuring his accomplices. DIG Mirpurkhas who is the investigation office in the case has sent the preliminary report to the Sindh government.
