Inter-faith Ulema council to be set up for religious harmony: Malik

Interior Minister Rehman Malik has said that the government is going to constitute inter-faith council to create religious harmony in the country.
In an interview with Radio Pakistan, he said the council will comprise of Ulema of all religious sections and its chairmanship will be rotated among them after every three months.
He further added that an inter-faith conference at national level is also being held on August 30, to discuss as to how sectarian harmony can be promoted in the country.
He appealed to the people of the country to get united to foil nefarious designs of enemy who want to create instability in the country through subversive acts.
Replying to a question about law and order situation in Balochistan, Interior Minister Rehman Malik offered Baloch nationalist leaders to come to dialogue with the government for addressing the issues of Baloch people.
He also asked self-exiled Baloch nationalist leaders to return to Balochistan for helping Baloch people to resolve their problems while remaining among them.
He said they can make Pakistan especially Balochistan the most prosperous area of the world with unity, peace and stability.
