First meeting of the Parliamentary Commission formed to create new provinces has been summoned on August 28.
Speaker National Assembly Dr Fehmeeda Mirza had formed the commission last week. During the upcoming session chairman of the commission would be appointed.
Sources said that the commission has decided to remain representation of all parties.
Last week, 12 members from the National Assembly and Senate were named for the commission, while two names were selected from Punjab Assembly. The sources said that PML-N has not yet provided any name for the commission, and demanding more representation in the commission.
