Amnesty International (AI) has demanded best possible security arrangements for the 11-year-old Christian girl arrested for allegedly burning the Quran verses.
AI Police Director Trescot has branded the case against the Christian girl as a sign of redundancy for Pakistani justice and dangers posed by Blasphemy Law to those charged of the offence.
AI has expressed its strongest concerns regarding the safety for Christian girl, Rimsha, as according to its concerns, many others charged with similar offence of Blasphemy.
Trescot has welcomed President Zardari’s notice over the arrest of the Christian girl, stressing that massive reforms were required for Blasphemy laws.
