The Tehreek e Taliban Pakistan (TTP) warned the country’s military on Monday that it (TTP) had set up a “suicide bombers squad” to hit troops if an offensive was launched in a restive tribal area bordering Afghanistan, a private TV reported.
In an email message sent to media, the TTP said it had received “an exclusive intelligence report” about the offensive in North Waziristan.
“TTP has also prepared itself for resistance, we have set up a suicide bombers squad to welcome the army. We will defeat our enemy, whom is defending secular, unIslamic system of Pakistan by punching them back hard InshaAllah (God willing),” Ehsan said.

This is really the solution….take them out one-by-one. This is exactly how Isreal has successfully survived for so long. These (TTP) people are friends of NO ONE. THIS is THE #1 enemy.
If the Pakistan Army cannot handle maybe they should get crack troops form other muslim nations to help. Seriously get the big guns out, through a corden barrier & plaster waziristan.
I'm sorry, I know you mean well, but a silly suggestion. We're the only "muslim nation" with a military worth its salt. Also, it's nice and romantic to say let's bring out the armies of other "muslim nations" (which no one does) but also tactically the worst option, even if any other "muslim nation" would stick out its neck to help us out (no other muslim country would risk its troops in our battlegrounds). The imported, use of the word just for the sake of distinction, militaries would flop because they have zero knowledge of our terrain, our urban warfare conducted in remote undeveloped areas of Waziristan.

1948 war was a draw! Conidering that the tribals liberated a third of Kashmir is no small accomplishment! Our army chief was a britt who refused Jinnahs order to attack india held Kasmir!
1965 war was ended in a draw as well..Although Pakistan failed to achieve their objectives that is the liberation of Kashmir.
1971..Pakistan lost heavily! But the problem was a political one! A state cannot wage and win a war when the majority of the people arent on your side!
Kargil was a disaster…
Keep in mind that India is a very large country and an aspiring major power with global amibitions. Just to keep them at bay is no small accomplishment!
Pakistan(army) can be blamed though for starting the wars of 65 and 99 and we were at fault in 71! Peace between the two nations would go a long way in improving the lives of poor south asians (by reduving their defence expenditures for example)

You must allow my comment. A mention of Mr Panetta or US must not make a comment undisclosable. What is the fear? These are mature nations and people act maturely albeit not all the time.
Notice the similarity between the Libyan Rebels (mercenaries collected from all of Africa); the Syrian Rebels (consisting of a large percentage of those who were used in Libya) and The TTP (composition needs no elaboration). The great game continues. Time to stand shoulder to shoulder with our men in uniform, in any case, very few will be able to watch the fireworks as spectators only. Compre ! These TTP will only attack Pakistan and its army! they will not attack US or Afghan forces in Afghanistan, They will not even issue statements against India! it makes you wonder, whats the purpose and designs of TTP? only to play on masters tunes in name of Islam! I think both civilians and Army soldiers should stop becoming 'Sacrificial Lambs' in the hands of these TTP. Who ever are their open and silent supporters must be banned from taking part in the coming elections.
This (TTP) is a cencer and needs to be rooted out, period. The army and the political leadership should do whatever it takes to eliminate it. Not an easy task, but there is no choice if the country is to survive. These b@st@rds have only ONE mission, which is to impose THEIR brand of Islam, whatever that is, and to push the country to the stone age.
You are correct and there is a big consensus in Pakistan to root out this evil but many are afraid to voice it. If the Pak army does not move quickly it will lead to more chaos as TTE become more emboldened. Their missin is not only to impose their brand but break up pakistan so it becomes easier to control the provinces.
They have no loyalty to Pakistan or its citizens, they do not even fear allah swt as they break every muslim/islamic belief on compassion, peace and not to kill or murder fellow muslim and a lot of them have violated muslim women.

look for Imran Hosein on you tube. US wants TTP and army clash which will lead to civil war. After which USA will pick up the nukes. That will be the end of Pakistan.
