Punjab Governor Sardar Latif Khan Khosa has called upon all institutions, including the judiciary to refrain from “diatribe” against the state. “Such statements bring forth despondency among the masses and as a matter of fact such acts must be avoided by all institutions,” he said while talking to reporters at an Iftar dinner hosted for journalists at the Governor’s House on Saturday. The governor said the courts should speak through their decisions, as “ultra-constitutional statements could harm the state.”
