In wake of increased security because of Eid, Punjab Police arrested many robbers on Saturday, according to a report by City42. These robbers were involved in various street crimes. Green Town police arrested 4 robbers and recovered valuables and weapons from them. Badami Bagh police two robbers named Jamil and Wajid who were involved in street crimes in the locality. The police also recovered thousands of rupees, 12 mobile phones and other valuables from their possession. In other report police raided a house in Cantonment, arrested two members of Yasir robbery gang and recovered motorbikes, dozens of mobile phones and other valuables from them. In another report police arrested three drug dealers from Gawal-Mandi and Lari-Adda Badami Bagh. Police arrested Ashraf, Usman and Tariq, and recovered one and half kilogram hashish, seventy bottles of liquor and other illegal goods. Model Town CIA raided the house of a man named Farooq and recovered 1,300 liters liquor.
