Capital Development Authority (CDA) launched an operation against illegally constructed houses in Bari Imam on Saturday and demolished two houses in the process.
CDA Chairman Farhand Iqbal directed the enforcement staff to launch the operation against the illegal buildings.
On the other hand, a newly constructed hotel situated at University Chowk in Narial was also demolished.
Protesting people tried to stop the enforcement vehicle by pelting it with stones and severely injured two inspectors, two supervisors and two security guards. Later on, police reached the spot and shifted the injured to Polyclinic Hospital.
