Bid to blow up train foiled

A major terror act was averted on Sunday as explosive materials were recovered near Kolpur railway station in the district Bolan of Balochistan.
Bomb disposal squad was immediately called for defusing the explosives.
Sources said that Jaffar Express on way to Rawalpindi from Quetta was about to reach Kolpur station, when the driver of the train having seen some suspected material on the railway line informed the officials. On search explosives were confirmed and bomb disposal squad was called for help.
Meanwhile the authorities also removed a landmine from the Quetta Railway track and it was removed with the help of bomb disposal squad.
