On the advice of the prime minister, President Asif Ali Zardari has granted special remission in sentences to the convicts of various categories on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. A special remission of 90 days has been granted to the prisoners convicted for life imprisonment except those convicted for heinous crimes including murder, espionage and anti-state activities, sectarianism, fornication, robbery, kidnapping/abduction and terrorist acts. Special remission for 45 days granted to all other convicts except the condemned prisoners and also except those convicted of heinous crimes.
The above special remissions will be admissible provided that the convicts have undergone two-thirds of their substantive sentence of imprisonment. The total remission to male prisoners who are 65 years of age or above, and the female prisoners who are 60 years of age or above, who have undergone at least one-third of their substantive sentence of imprisonment, except those involved in culpable homicide and those involved in terrorist acts, as defined in the anti-terrorism (second amendment) Ordinance 1999, (No. XIII of 1999).
Well ofcourse inmates get special remission in sentences. Most of them are zardari's friends and the others are ppp jiayalas. Only in Pakistan can criminals be rewarded and law abiding citizens trampled upon. Every one of ppp leadership is a convicted criminal.
Who will grant zardari remission when he goes to prison. I have faith in this country and its people that one day, very soon, we will have the decency to put people like zardari in jail without hesitancy. And yes his 60 million dollars in swiss accounts + other assets will also be brought back to the treasury of pakistan where they belong.
Pakistani bhashendo abb uth jao, bahot sahleay yay julm ka nizam !!!
Pakistan zindabad.
In ramadan, please pray that Allah condemn this vile man to the deepest & darkest of places in Hell. May Allah give him back the consequence of his action on every man, woman & child in hell.
May Allah curse him -all those freed would be his friends and relatives released to indulge in further criminal activities
