Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Thursday ordered law enforcement authorities to strictly follow the security plan for ensuring safety of citizens on the occasion of Eid.
Chairing a meeting with police officials to review the security arrangments, Shahbaz said that process of information sharing with the intelligence agencies should be improved further to avert any untoward incident on the occasion.
He also ordered the authorities to beef up security at markets and shopping centers across Punjab.
