Five police personnel, including a Deputy Superintendent were killed and five others wounded in two separate road accidents in Khuzdar and Quetta, on Thursday. In the first incident, a vehicle of the Crime Branch was going to Lasbela from Quetta to investigate the abduction of a Hindu trader.
The vehicle’s front wheel burst and the car flipped over at Baghbana, 45 KM away from Khuzdar. As a result, DSP Ehsan Noor, constables Jahangir, Mohammad Khan and Shahullah died on the spot while Safdar Abbass, Sakhi Muhammad, Zaheer Abbass and Zulfiqar Ali sustained serious wounds.
