Pakistan, India to meet in U-19 World Cup quarters

The stage has been set for a mouth-watering India-Pakistan quarter-final clash on Monday in the International Cricket Council (ICC) Under-19 Cricket World Cup being held in Australia. India outplayed Papua New Guinea (PNG) by 107 runs to meet Pakistan, who beat New Zealand by five wickets, to remain unbeaten in their group.
Meanwhile, Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe became the only two full-member nations that did not progress into the Super League stage. England defeated Nepal by 126 runs to set up a quarter-final meeting with South Africa.
New Zealand, who finished second in Group B, will play their quarter-final against the West Indies on Monday. The West Indies topped Group C after defeating Zimbabwe by six wickets. Bangladesh also qualified for the last eight after an easy win over Namibia by seven wickets. Bangladesh will now play defending champions and hosts Australia on Sunday.
Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe, along with Afghanistan, Ireland, Namibia, Nepal, PNG and Scotland will now compete in the Plate Championship from Sunday.
