Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has expressed grave concern over terrorist assault at Kamra Airbase, which is situated inside a high-security zone. Talking to reporters on Thursday, Khan said use of force and military action against terrorism was not a solution to the problem.
To a question regarding potential North Waziristan operation, Khan said he believed the operation would fuel terrorism in the country.
The PTI chairman said he was unable to understand why the decision to launch the operation had been made.
He said there was huge difference even between the Pentagon and the US State Department over the war on terror. “How long would we keep fighting for the US for sake of money,” he said, adding that 40,000 Pakistanis had been killed in the war so far.
