Sindh High Court Chief Justice Mushir Alam has directed the district and sessions judge Hyderabad to re-conduct the judicial inquiry into the central jail operation and to fix responsibility in the report. The court on Wednesday summoned the SSP Hyderabad Pir Farid Jan Sarhandi and Jail Superintendent Qazi Nazeer after Eid. An under trial prisoner was killed while 12 jail police personnel and 3 prisoners were injured in the standoff between the inmates and wardens on July 13.
