Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah asked the leader of opposition Raja Riaz on Wednesday to forget the dream of becoming the chief minister of Punjab in the future because he will face defeat in the next general elections.
While talking to reporters, Sanaullah said Raja Riaz gave a speech in the Punjab Assembly in which he said that the funeral of one party would be offered in the next general election.
Rana said that it did not matter whose funeral would be offered in the next general election, but it was obvious that Raja would not become the chief minister of Punjab.
He said that the allegations of opposition in Punjab against the Punjab government were baseless.
The provincial law minister said that because of the good policies and timely action of the Punjab government, the terrorist activities in the province were under control.
He added that Punjab government had chalked out a foolproof security plan for the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr, and security had been tightened at the entry and exit points of the city.
